venison.
here i am homeless, so i wen’t up to defiance for a spell. our lunch today was venison chops [not store bought, actually hunted and butchered by a friend] and sauteed veggies with a beurre rouge sauce. now we’re making homemade heirloom tomato salsa and jarring it. who knows what dinnertime will bring.
i think that julie and julia movie had an effect on us. MORE BUTTER!!!
latin,the peloponnese, and grad students
so here i am at baba budans enjoying sangria and working on my redickulous alias thinger and i have the delightful fortune of sitting next to two grad students [i’m feeling that they’re definately phd candidates], who are experts in ancient pottery. their conversations flip back and forth from girls to the peloponnese.
i know i shouldn’t be eves dropping but they keep talking...
