today i’ve already had a lively debate about climate change, george w. bush, and politics with two coworkers. one a repub, and one a dem.
we summed it all up by the repub murmurring “gosh, palin…. she was a mistake.”
haha! so good.
i just explained my ideas and passions for design to a coworker. i told him about what design can be and where it could go and where i want to be with it. i told him about the little products that inspire me to look for change and ideas and the betterment of humanity.
his response: “well you’ve got your foot in the door building boxes.” then he laughed.

i do not know what.
it’s hard to plan your life when it doesn’t just involve one person, but two. i can be tim gunn and “make it work” but how? there are all sorts of wonderful things to do but how much do i hold back and how much do i say fuck it lets go? how much youth is a piece of paper really worth?
i’m still searching for my point b.

here it is… the ultimate in toxic assets. this is why the banking system in the US is so screwed up at the moment. it’s a house for $5. seriously. you can get a burrito at chipotle, or a 3 bedroom house. you can buy four prismacolor pencils or a whole HOUSE! what the hell is going on in the us at the moment?
